I guess the first question we usually get is "why the name SISU?"  The word SISU and the meaning behind it comes from my high school cross-country coach.  When I was a junior we adopted SISU as our team mantra and its stuck with me ever since.  I knew that when we were to launch an event production company wrapped around a sport we are passionate about, that I wanted SISU to be our mantra as well.

We launched SISU Events in 2009 by working as race directors for some local 5K running events.  We quickly found that we wanted to have our own events and then started to slowly add in our events to all we did.
