The word “sisu,” (pronounced see-sue), can be translated from Finnish as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. At Sisu Events, this definition appropriately explains how we go about producing local running, cycling, and endurance events.

We produce top quality events which allows us to inspire, engage, and empower the community to live a healthy lifestyle. Our participants become influencers of change across our community. Endurance sports draw a broad spectrum of participants, from beginners, to elite athletes – from business owners, to philanthropic champions – young and old – fit and ‘soon-to-be fit’. The people who participate typically become influencers across their families, friends and businesses. They share an attitude of possibility and are eager to be involved in events that build community and support a good cause. In partnership with Sisu events, charitable benefactors are provided with a truly unique platform from which to reach out to their community. This allows them to raise awareness, educate the public, as well as generate support through marketing and fund raising.
